So what is this whole wellness revolution? It consists of many facets…all that increase your personal well-being. We will start with diet and a main part of the wellness revolution is having a solid eating habits, and nourishing your body with healthier more enriching foods. There are a lot of foods that provide empty calories, unhealthy additives and do not provide us with the nutrients that we need in our everyday diets. It is very easy and convenient to fall into the habit of eating these junk foods, and must be controlled (within reason of course), to ensure a higher quality of life.

We see foods in the stores that the manufacturers add fats and preservatives to make them taste better or give them a longer shelf life, but that does not make them healthy for us to consume. We see those lovely snack cakes in the clear wrappers that we just can’t resist but do we really know or want to know how long they have been on the shelf? Do we really care how bad they are for us? Some people do care. The initial sugar rush we get from those snack cakes is fine but how about when it runs out? Your blood sugar levels come down and you feel tired, dizzy, and lazy which is not what we want for peak performance and productivity.

A fun way to find out what your body need or how much it needs is a site www.mypyramid.gov, which will let you individualize what calories you need every day and the serving sizes. You can also adjust it if you would like to lose weight. Getting the right amount of vitamins and minerals will keep your body healthy and well. You can get pyramids for the whole family.

A lack of the right nutrients in our diets can cause health problems such as:

mood swings

fatigue

nervousness

headaches

confusion

muscle weakness

We need to achieve a homeostasis or balance with our bodies. There are plenty of healthy foods available that taste great and provide us with what our bodies need. A great snack would be a yogurt smoothie. Yogurt, milk, and fruit blended together to make a shake. Another thing is that kids love these snacks.

Obesity is another problem we face when we eat too many empty calories or the wrong foods. You can try eating healthier smaller meals instead of healthier large meals and you can still lose weight. This doesn’t mean eating rice cakes all day with salads. You still won’t get the nutrients your body needs but try smaller meals and see what happens. There are recipes available for all types of meal plans. If you don’t have time to cook healthy meals for your family then there are recipes for slow cookers that you can just prepare the night before and plug in the next morning before going to work and its ready when you get home from work. If your family doesn’t like ground turkey you can try mixing half and half with ground beef or pork to make recipes healthier, they probably wouldn’t even know the difference.

There are fun ways to make a difference in eating healthier and when we are healthier we can do more and feel better. It is recommended that we get at least thirty minutes of exercise a day. If you haven’t been getting enough exercise then take up walking. Walking is a great way to start. Take an evening stroll after dinner and speak to your neighbors or walk to a park. Expecting to work out at the gym right away or jumping into a two mile run is not a good way to start since you can be easily discouraged by aches, pains, and other things that can turn you off exercise. Start out slow and build up to heavier exercise. Your overall wellness includes a healthy diet and exercise.

We all look in the mirror and search for wrinkles and gray hair and we all turn sideways to check our stomachs and see what gravity has done to us. We suck in our guts and see what we can look like if we lost weight or exercised more. Don’t just imagine being slim, do it. What if you posed in front of the mirror and actually saw a difference? Wouldn’t you feel so much better when you can actually see the difference?

Something else to consider when you join the “wellness revolution” is that not only will you be healthier you won’t need as many sick visits to the doctor’s office or take as many days off work due to illness. A healthier you means your immune system is running at its best and infections and illnesses are better fought off. So not only will you be healthier but you can save money by not missing work and not having to pay to visit the doctor’s office. Your doctor won’t be giving you lectures on losing weight, getting more exercise, but will comment on how much healthier you are. You can feel good health-wise and feel good about feeling good.

Lake Como has been attracting and alluring individuals to its serene atmosphere and sheer beauty for centuries. Even George Clooney purchased a few properties because he fell in love with the place. It is the ultimate escape. The lake is 1345 feet in depth, the deepest lake in Europe and the third largest lake in Italy. Who wouldn’t want to get away to a place full of beauty? I can’t think of any one person who would refuse a place that could be considered a “paradise.” The beauty of this lake even appeared in films such as Ocean’s Twelve and Star Wars.

Lake Como is located a little under 25 miles to the north of Milan, Italy and only a few minutes away from the border of Switzerland. This
beautiful lake is known for its very distinctive upside down “Y” shape that makes up one of the
reasons why it is so beautiful. No wonder this destination is becoming a popular tourist attraction;
people want to witness the beauty and serenity for themselves. Many European artists, writers and
composers found this place to be lyrical and were drawn to its romance and unavoidable charm even
themselves.The place was not just a surprise discovery that tourists happened to discover. Como
Town, which is a town bordering the lake was built as part of the Roman Empire in 172 AD. The
Italian people have always known about the lake and it is a favorable spot to escape city pollution and
humidity. Como Town is littered with remnants and giveaways of its long history. The town contains
old streets, medieval walls, a Renaissance “Palazzi,” a cathedral that took nearly four centuries to
make, an array of 18^th century architecture and a 19^th century theatre, among many others. These
historic features give the town a distinct Gothic and Renaissance façade. Como Town is not shy of its
architecture either. The town contains modernist architecture in its unique mix of heritage and
history. Giuseppe Terragni, a leading Rationalist architect and his brother have contributed
numerous pieces of their work to the town; the two had shared a studio in the town during the 1930s.
Some of their work include: La Fontana, Monumento di Caduti—a war memorial that can be seen
from the lake—and Casa del Fascio all of which are worth looking at.

Isola di Comacino also adds to the lake’s heritage and history; it is the only island on the lake. This island had been continuously inhabited by citizens of the island since prehistoric times until it was burnt and ransacked in the 12^th century; the island was actually burnt and ransacked by its own angry residents. Because of these events, the island is of great archaeological importance to the lake and the surrounding regions. The island was passed along from the Romans to the Goths to the Byznatines until finally ending with the Longbards in 588 AD.

A must see sight is the infamous Fiumelatte or rather the “River of Milk.” It has captured the fascination of many individuals, including the infamous Leonardo da Vinci himself. The Fiumelatte is 820 feet long; because of this and the river’s degree of its rise, it gives the river its renowned “white milky” appearance that has been fascinating people for centuries. This river will dry up come October and suddenly reappears in the middle of March beautiful and “milk white” as it always is. The river has been nicknamed the Fiume delle due Madonne or “River of two Madonnas” because of this annual occurrence.

The town and lake are also full of culture. The lake itself has always been rumored to behold certain “healing powers” to some locals. The towns that border the lake are also known for their exquisitely delicious Italian food; every entrée containing fish contains fish from the very lake itself and is noted to produce heavenly food. There is also an array of local handmade crafts and art. The local craftsmen uses wool or silk to hand make each piece of their art. An interesting fact about Lake Como is that 80% of Europe’s silk is actually derived from regions around the lake.Another interesting cultural fact is the physicist Alessandro Volta who lived over two centuries ago was born in Como, Italy. Volta is known for inventing the battery. He was made a count in 1810 by Napoleon and several years later retired.

Como Lake is a true blend of contemporary Italian culture. The football team is very popular as well as a number of things to do year round. People can water-ski, sail, windsurf, hike, cycle, take a walk or just enjoy the beautiful sun. The lake fuses a long history with it old remnants and artifacts of past civilizations with more contemporary ways of life perfectly.

Lake Como Italy is indeed a true depiction of an array or heritage, history, beauty and Italian culture. This lake and its surrounding towns and regions are truly unique and extraordinary. I look forward to owning my own residence in this wonderful town to enjoy the Italian lifestyle in Lake Como!

Where are we? We look around us we see what we currently have and like most people we want more and to be better. That is just our nature as humans for most. But you also have to consider who we are. What is our personality? There are several ways to learn more about ourselves. There are several typology tests available and one such is the Jung Typology test. This test can tell you much about yourself, how you think, who you are, and how you work things out. A free test is available at: http://www.humanmetrics.com/. You can learn so much about yourself and it can change your life.

Where do you want to be? This step requires thought. You need to set goals once you decide. Set up a personal development plan or PDP. There are advantages of having a PDP set up for you. There are educational, career, and personal advantages to setting up all three PDPs. The educational benefits are that you set your goals and gain a clearer focus to your learning, keep yourself motivated, understand how you learn and how to improve your performance, get less stress from your learning, become aware of how to apply your learning to new problems and contexts, and develop thinking skills that can strengthen academic performance. Education is an important step in gaining the career you want. This will help you complete your education and be ready for your new professional career.

Even with a professional career you will need to set goals. You cannot expect to automatically take over a company or reach the highest level without taking steps to get there. You will need the next PDP to help you get there. See what each step you will need to take to get to where you want to be. Do you need to start at the bottom and work your way up or does your education allow you to start higher up. How does you education help you? You now have the skills to do the job, you have the confidence in knowing what you are doing and what needs to be done and a PDP will help you work out the steps and goals you can set for yourself.

Personal PDPs can help you with setting goals in your personal life also. They can be a positive approach to how you attain your personal goals. You draw up a list of what you want, how you intend to attain the goals and what you will do once you reach those goals. Once you are done a PDP can tell you much about yourself and how you think. What your needs are compared to what your wants are.

What do you need to do to get there? You now have an education. You have a plan of action. Now, you have to follow through on your plan. Where do you plan to be in six months, one year, or in five years? Set your goals realistically so that you know you can obtain them. Post little index cards with your goals around the house so that you are reminded of them. You can be tired after a long day of work but if you reach into the refrigerator and glance up and see that you are closer to your goals you will feel a little less tired at the end of the day. You get that big promotion at work and dance a little jig when you get home and you can remove that card from your goals. The smaller your pile of cards the closer you are to reaching your major goals. You can always add more cards as you see more goals to reach.

This is personal development at its best. You now understand yourself better than you ever did before, you know what you want out of life and you have learned how to get what you want. Setting goals and developing a PDP are tools that can help you. Now you can work on earning that Nobel Prize you’ve always wanted. You can do anything. Go after your goals with a solid plan and complete focus!

Most make the mistake of focusing on the girl. The answer is to focus on you. You aren’t the only one searching, so is she. You have to be what she wants as well or you will be the one she will “settle” for and have to keep an eye on the back door when you leave for work every day.  It is a dynamic formula to be the right guy for what you consider the right girl. How often has that not been the case?  Either you are the pathetic clinging wannabe or she is. Jack Palance said, “Confidence is sexy” and he was right. But don’t get carried away and be a dick. Women want that (LOL), but definitely not in that sort of way. Be confident in the core of what you believe to be important, and always be a gentlemen.

Make sure you are being authentic to yourself at all times. You can’t keep up an act for years, so if you don’t want it all to fall apart, be real from the start. That is my advice to you.  Don’t be the 6 foot 5 inch bodybuilder nuclear physicist you are online. Be the very courteous Sears appliance salesman you really are with a well maintained but less than Diesel body.

It has also been said that life is a journey, so be going somewhere. You and your girl have to have a future. Women especially look at where things are going.  Who hasn’t sat through the “where do you think the relationship is going speech?” By the way, if your gonads shrivel when she asks this question, she’s probably not the one.

This is difficult: finding true love with the girl of your dreams. But if you focus on yourself and give her something to find, you’ll be a lot happier.  Remember, you are the lion and the prey at the same time.  It is a great circle of love.

• Being More Attractive

Most guys think making more money is the answer to their love life trouble. Wrong! A woman will be more attracted to a man who is well-travelled, well-read, can dance, cook, paint, play music, and has interesting hobbies. The guy that works all the hours god sends will never be as attractive as a guy who takes time to enjoy life. At a minimum, do a salsa class! Think of a woman like a talent scout, why should she sign you up? Another facet of this is that the women that are around you will start seeing how cool you are becoming and start to want you. • Don’t dress generically, find a stylish fashionable look, and use magazine advertisements for ideas if needed.
• Ask a top stylist what the best hair style for you would be.
• Manage your nose hair.
• Shape your eyebrows.
• Get in shape.
• Fix your posture.
• Would you look better with a tan?

Do what you can with your look and you can easily move up a few levels in the attractiveness scale.

• Don’t be after the girl

If you focus all your attention and energy on one girl, the surprising thing is that you are actually reducing your chances of attracting her. Usually if you work hard on something it pays off, women are the exception. When they think that you are there whenever they want you, it is not a challenge and is less attractive. I’m telling you all women love a challenge! Keep your options open, do other things, and don’t be needy. Doing things like calling but not inviting on a date or becoming friends first and not asking them out will make them go crazy and start to work for you.

• Be Indirect to Maximize Your Chances

Become friends and get her comfortable with you before you seduce her. The indirect approach is best unless she is giving you signs that she is interested (in which case, go for it!). Get connections, make her feel good around you, build rapport, and be fun and interesting.

• When you seduce her, do it Right!

When you go sexual, it is important that it seems natural like something that “just happened” and not that you have been longing after her for months!

• Keep Her!

To keep the girl of your dreams, you have to keep the elements of yourself that she found attractive in the first place. Don’t quit your hobbies or become conventional, she’ll lose interest. You still need to work, and if you do, you’ll be able to keep her for as long as you like. Remember to always stay true to yourself and you will live your Greatest Life with your dream woman…guaranteed!

2. Desire – You have to have a burning hunger to achieve whatever your goals are no matter what stands in your way. That DESIRE will drive you where others can’t go. There is remarkable power within defiant desire and clear purpose.

3. Persistence – This is one of the least known ingredients of entrepreneurs. So many talented people have fallen foul of stopping when life dealt them failure. Failure creates wisdom, if you haven’t failed then you haven’t really been in business. When you have failed and things are going wrong, it’s then that persistence that will see you past the point when it seems there is nowhere else to go. Keep going, because if you do, you WILL see that all successful people have the ability to push on when others give up.

4. Passion – Passion is also not well known as an ingredient to success. You HAVE to love what you do, be excited by it, be inspired by it. It has to make your mind race and your heart thump. That may be your vision of financial freedom, hitting targets that work or building a property/investment portfolio or even a business empire. At times even the things you are passionate about will seem hard. One thing is for certain – if you are not passionate about your Goals, then you will not be as successful as if you were!

5. Planning – It is critical to have an Organized Plan. Many people have what it takes to be successful but lack the plan to go all the way. Many people have failed because their lack of planning meant that they did not consider potential circumstances that killed their businesses in the future. If they had planned their finances, mainly costs and income, then failure is avoidable!

Tip of the year – Keep your costs low and your income high and generally you will not fail!

6. Team – Even the most successful actors have a team, even they are not one man bands. You absolutely must surround yourself with people that share your vision, believe in it and are also good at things that maybe you are not! It’s having that team of people that compliment each other in each area of the business, be that selling, managing money, providing the service or coming up with the new ideas. If you have that team, it could be 2 or 20 you will be well on your way to being successful!

7. Goals and Vision – Some one in your team, maybe you and/or others will come up with the ideas, goals and visions. You all have to buy into that vision and fight for that goal until you get it. If you think you want success but you lack the goal and clear vision of exactly what that consists of then you will never get there, you must have and stick to that vision no matter what.

8. Decision Making – Another very important skill that you must have is the ability to make decisions. It sounds simple but many have a hard time doing it. Have you ever “ummed and ahhed” about something important? We all have. So much time is wasted and so many opportunities to be successful are missed because people just don’t say Yes or No. You must be able to make a decision as quickly as possible and then stick by it. Don’t ever fear making the wrong one, just do it and move on. Branson did.

9. Positivity – Finally the most important ingredient of all. The POSITIVE attitude is the foundation of any successful person – That means when things are tough, stay positive. When you don’t get what you want – stay positive, when things are taking longer than planned – stay positive. The reason for this is simple- You get what you give, you receive what you believe. Negative expectations and thoughts will certainly bring negative results. Expect to have a hard time and you will get one. Likewise, expect to have success and happiness and you will receive it , its very simple.

These principles have been practiced by entrepreneurs. since the beginning of the 20th century. Many, many excellent publications are available and we believe undoubtedly that all the above are the way to a happier and more rewarding life and business. The Little Word of Attraction

So what is attraction? Sure, you’ve heard of it and you may “think” you know what it is. But, really, what is “it”? Everyone has an attraction, basic instincts that pull an individual to another. Sometimes this pull goes both ways, sometimes it doesn’t. The law of attraction simply states that we create our own realities, attracting things that we want and don’t want. We particularly attract people into our lives. We also attract material things, money and emotions and feelings. The law of attraction is always a force that is unavoidable; it’s always present and most of the time you’re unconscious of it. Attraction is shown through nonverbal communication—hand gestures, the licking of lips, the light touch on the arm, the dilated eyes—and verbal communication. But unlike verbal communication, unless you’re meaning to, nonverbal communication will give your attraction away.

There are many attributes that first get your attention when you look at someone, whether it is a quick glance that makes you do a double take or an observant stare. Attraction is, at first, physical. If a person is visually stimulating, you are instantly drawn to that individual, but don’t give your hopes up just get. You must understand what attraction is first before you can go out and be successful. People that are similar are also drawn to one another: gender (in friendships), ethnicity, eye color, hair color, personality traits, etc. You may not realize this, but you are more than likely going to be swept off your feet or attracted to someone similar in features to you, even if it is the shape of your nose. Knowing this, you get understand how attracting a woman works.

Attract

Women like to feel beautiful; beautiful women who know they’re beautiful particularly like to feel beautiful. Hell, they actually love it. So how do you attract beautiful women? It’s simpler than you may think. It’s all in how you present yourself, communicate and the amount of interest that you give her. Women seek attention and approval. These two wants go hand and hand. Knowing how to use these to your advantage can have you well on your way to get ANY woman that you want.

To attract women you need to know how to give them the right amount of attention, approval and even at times disapproval. If you do these and control how you “come off” to her, you will stand out of the crowd and make a good impression. Beautiful women have men all over them most of the time or at least they have run into quite a few that right off the bat confess just how “beautiful and gorgeous” they are. Some even go to the extreme with “goddess,” “divine” and all the other cliché and lame pick-up lines. Really, they do get boring and redundant. So instead of confessing your attraction to the woman you’re talking to, control how much approval, attention and in small amounts, disapproval you give her.

If you want a woman to keep her eye on you, be interested or even stay interested, do not show her your approval too quickly. Remember women want attention and approval. Use your “attention” in moderate amounts as well as approval. Doing this, you will build up an attraction inside of her that she simply cannot control. One of the great things about attracting women is that once you have them attracted they cannot NOT be attracted to you. Being attracted to someone is emotional. One does not stop to think when that “feeling” suddenly hits. You’re attracted and that’s that. Nobody can do anything to stop it and certainly not the woman you’re “attracting.” You’ll have the “woman of your dreams” swept off of her feet in no time. With these tips, you will actually be the one being pursued—a great feeling nonetheless. Use these rules when talking to a woman and watch it work every time! And…NEVER stop learning, growing, practicing, and becoming a better YOU!

Back on the 17^th of June of this year, President Obama made his remarks on the current financial regulatory form. It was not just due to certain individuals that allowed our economy to crash, but as American citizens as a whole.  Obama stated “…no one was responsible for protecting the whole system from the kinds of risks that tied these firms to one another” which allowed this crisis to happen. ^[1] The system cannot be blamed solely however. “…[I]t was also the result of decisions made by ordinary Americans to open credit cards and take out home loans and take on other financial obligations.” ^[1]

So how is the American economy getting out of these crises? Obama proposed three stimulus ideas so far to get us out of the “gutter” so to speak.

The first Obama stimulus is worth $787 billion dollars which was signed in late February of this year; it is known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act; this act can basically be summed up as this:

• $288 billion – tax relief
• $144 billion – state and local municipalities
• $111 billion – infrastructure and science
• $81 billion – poor and unemployed
• $59 billion – health care
• $53 billion – education and training
• $43 billion – energy
• $8 billion – other

This is where the money is supposed to go anyway. ^[2] This plan includes $787 billion dollars in tax cuts and job creations.

Another one of Obama’s stimulus plans entails $1 trillion dollars and is known as the “toxic asset purchase program.” This plan was announced March 2009 and is being supported by $75-$100 billion dollars in funds from the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP). This pledge is hoping to be enough to attract the funds of private investors including: endowments, institutional investors, hedge funds and private equity funds to total the needed between $500 billion and $1 trillion dollars. ^[2]

This plan works on the premise that private investors will buy these “toxic assets” from banks at only a fraction of their actual book value. Once this occurs, the FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) will have their piece of the deal as well; the FDCI will guarantee “debt-financing issue by public-private entities.” ^[2] If all goes according to plan, perhaps the economy can slowly swim toward the surface.

The last proposed Obama stimulus plan is part of the $787 billion dollar stimulus; it is referred to as the “State Shares of Economic Stimulus Package.” This contains how much aide each state will receive for 2009 and 2010 in the billions of dollars ^[3]:

States can use these distributions for education, budget cuts, health information technology, broadband infrastructure and development, energy and green job programs and research and development, among several other appropriate measures.^[4] Among these perks there is an estimate that 3.5 million jobs will be saved and created and that college education will be more affordable.

So are these stimulus plans for 2009 working? Is the U.S. recovering from the credit crisis? It is still too soon to tell unfortunately. The United States is in fact in a recession that is not going to be easy to get out of, however I am optimistic that we will grow stronger from this and be back on the rise in 2010! Needless to say there are an abundant amount of opportunities to capitalize on this circumstance just with the Stock Market alone. As Warren Buffet so eloquently said: “Be greedy when others are fearful, and fearful when others are greedy.”

Now I have had my fair share of traveling experiences and have been to at least of half the destination below, therefore I put my stamp of approval on these and will say these are definitely places tourists will always want to go to.  Over the past ten years the list of the hot destinations has changed very little but we can offer something different.  There is good reason why these continue to be the spots to go to; they have the most to offer.  It is no wonder that each of these locations have millions of people pass through each and every year.   So where are the top ten destinations predicted to be for 2010?

Las Vegas continues to be one of the top destinations in the US.  With activities for the adults and the kids, it has become more of a family friendly location.  Hotels now have attractions for kids including rides, kid’s camps and other fun activities that they can partake in.  Of course the adults have the casinos but they also have the night life and the culture.  Almost every hotel on the strip has some type of show playing each night.  Some shows are as sophisticated as the shows you would catch on Broadway.

Bahamas, not only are the Bahamas a great tropical getaway, but the accommodations that you can choose from are an adventure. The Atlantis Resort in Nassau Bahamas is a great place to start. I think I have been here at least 10 times or more. I’ve honestly lost count. You can choose The Cove, Royal Towers or The Reef and if you don’t like the idea of a hotel room you can even rent a villa on the beach. There are spas, casinos, water parks and more. Some of the packages you can book include children under 11 free.  So if you are looking for a vacation away from the kids or bringing the kids along you can find something for everyone.  Also they have one of the sickest Marina’s I have ever seen for all those yachting enthusiasts out there! 5 Star Resort Here…but is definitely a bit pricey! Trust me though…it’s worth it!

Australia is a great vacation destination. They have several vacation locations for those who want to experience everything Australia has to offer. Whether you are checking out the Great Barrier Reef or the Sydney Opera House there is always something to see and do.  You can select Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns with its beaches, the capital city of Perth, sub-tropical Brisbane, relaxing Adelaide, Surfer’s Paradise, the garden city of Canberra, or Darwin. So much to see and so little time for vacation; you can return again and again and never see it all.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is a world away from the everyday. This Portuguese colony has erupted into a modern day paradise. You can climb mountains, swim the coastal waters, laze the day away on the beaches and still have energy for the daily nightlife. Rio is the best choice for sun, surf and dancing in South America. If you enjoy alfresco dining, buffets and are willing to try something new the food is excellent. Visit the normal tourist attractions but visit new areas and enjoy the old and the new.

FIJI, when you see grass skirts and coconuts do you think of Hawaii, how about considering Fiji instead. Why settle for five islands when you can choose 333 to explore. Tropical beaches, plenty of sunshine, coral reefs, and plenty of romance. You can hike trails, climb mountains, explore the forests and relax the entire time. Bangkok, Thailand Do you want a change from the tropical? This exotic destination is a mix of old and new. You can see the modern in the concrete and glass and still see the old temples, shrines and statuary of the old. One night in Bangkok is not enough to see all Bangkok has to offer. Visit the Golden Palace, the ancient city, Erawan Shrine, and so many other cultural sites. Visit the food stalls and shopping centers to meet the real people of Bangkok; they are always smiling and friendly.

Kenya, Africa Would you like to go where the wild things are? Ibiza, Spain is an exotic location for those who want something different. Ibiza is known for their mecca dance parties and is truly the “land of the young.” With beautiful Mediterranean beaches, young people all out having fun, and party after party. it’s hard not to at least visit this place once in your lifetime. I mean come on… Legendary dance clubs like Pacha, Amnesia, and Privilege, are hometown here and the best DJ’s in the world frequently visit the island to make for phenominal parties.

Norway, many people do not think of Norway as an exotic land but it is. Norway has a natural beauty that we can all appreciate. I would know because I have been here a half a dozen times and have seen the lands by natives…the things most tourists don’t get to see. The beautiful fjords surround all over Norway. Where I have been was Bergen and Oslo. Osly is the capital of Norway, and Bergen is the second largest city. Both equally beautiful, and expensive! I remeber paying like $30 for a meal at McDonalds with my old girl. Hilarious!   The mountains and fjords are spectacular and the castles and ancient roads are a wonder to behold. Although not a tropical destination the land of the Norse will provide a comfortable destination where you can relax before a roaring fire, enjoy new and exotic food dishes and feel the old world surround you. A truly wonderful place…

Any tourists in the US will be able to find a great travel vacation spot between these ten hot spots.  There are plenty more places to see as well but this is certainly an all star list to start with. There is something for everyone you just have to know how to find it.

These days (in my opinion) it’s all about quality of life, and designing your work around your lifestyle instead of letting your lifestyle take back-seat to your work. It seems that more and more people today are looking for their piece of the pie, and it doesn’t come easy. It takes many hours of hard work for any entrepreneur to get to that level where work becomes secondary to your lifestyle.  It may take many sacrifices on close friends and family, due to the time commitment needed to establish a successful business then setup the systems and automation to virtually let it run on autopilot.. But what exactly is needed to get to where you want to be? What exactly do you need to get your business going and succeed in life? There was a line I heard it a movie once, “It takes sweat, sweat and more sweat.”  Nothing comes easy. If it did, we would all be rich….right? What it takes today is to know how to outsource, know how to automate your business, and enjoy a shorter week. The new age entrepreneur needs to know how to get more done in less time and take time for the things we enjoy most. Who wouldn’t enjoy having a four hour work week?

Choose your career and team carefully.

The path to being your own boss starts with education. School is the most important aspect of any job or career. What career are you choosing though? Make sure it is a career path you are comfortable with. The worst thing in the world you want to do is choose a path you hate, and not be happy with what you are doing. First of all, you have wasted time going to school. Second, you are now in a career you despise. What is that going to do to clients and perspective clients? It will drive them away. No one wants to be in a place where someone hates what they do. Many people cannot stand negative vibes.

Check out different expos and conventions in the area or maybe somewhere close to travel to. There is always something to learn about what it is you are going to be doing. Maybe there are new techniques or designs for something you are using. Could there be you have questions regarding certain technology being used? There are always answers available to these questions. Go to shows and conventions may be able to help you with this. For a guy like me it would have to do something with trading, fitness, or internet marketing.

Start building your client base…aka…your E-MAIL LIST!

This is where much hard work comes in. If you want your business to succeed, you need to find the people to buy your product or services. Depending on how you advertise, some customers may just come up to your door. It does not always work that way. You need great advertising to attract people to your store. Not only do you need to find a way to attract customers, you need to keep the ones you have. Take time to get to know your customers. Find out what they want. Find out what it is they are looking for from your business.

In some cases, outsourcing has become a dirty word. Many large companies have gone to outsourcing some aspects of their business. Why is it they do this? Many times it is to focus on core parts of the jobs. It is also a cost cutting technique. Although there are many people out there who do not like the word outsourcing, it is very useful to those who are trying to reduce costs. Not only does it free up costs, it also frees up time for you to concentrate on other parts of your business. The more time you have on your hands, the more it allows you to do and get done with the work week a whole lot sooner.

Automate & Systemize Your Business

When you run your business, try and build it so you are able to run from anywhere you go. Things like an iPhone make this much easier, and there are several ways to streamline your operation by having a support center, outsourcing normal daily tasks to managers, have a virtual assistant, having different email accounts to filter things, and much more. There are also many programs out there for different types of businesses. There are programs to run accounting, inventory, invoicing, and evens takes care of the books. By automating your business, you are spending less time running the business and spending more time outdoors and enjoying life. This is the main goal of lifestyle design for the new age entrepreneur.

Networking is important and so is your family.

Spend some time getting to know others in your field. Find out what it is they know. Maybe there is a different way of doing the same thing you are doing. Maybe someone knows a quicker way. Find out as many secrets as you can. After all, you are the one trying to build a business. You need all the advantages you can get.

Once you have chosen your career, gathered a solid client base, outsourced the jobs that you can and automated the programs that you can. You can enjoy that four hour work week and still enjoy family and friends. After all, they are also one of the reasons you are doing this. This will be some sacrifices that need to be made on your way to financial freedom, but once you are set and running you can spend more time having the lifestyle you always wanted. You will have your business but your business will not have you. And..TRUST ME…it all pays off in the end!
